Rev. Juan Carlos Martínez has been an ordained minister in the PCA since 2013. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Rice University, and worked in the semiconductor industry as a design engineer for 9 years, before discerning a call to attend seminary. He earned a master’s of divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, where he serves on the Board of Trustees since 2021. Juan Carlos is married to his high school sweetheart, Samara, a physician specializing in Family Medicine. The Lord has blessed them with three children: Santiago Daniel, Karenina Valeska, and Juan Andrés.
Julio Rodriguez was born and raised in South Texas. At the age of 10, his family moved from Kingsville to Laredo, Texas. In his junior year of college at Texas A&M International University, the Lord called Julio to receive and rest in Christ. After graduating with a Bachelors in Accounting, Julio would pursue full-time ministry. In 2020, Julio moved to Houston, where he got the opportunity to work for Reformed Theological Seminary and become a pastoral intern. Julio is now under care in the Houston Metro Presbytery and completing his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary of Houston. He is married to Paula Rodriguez, a math teacher at Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy.
